Josh Shillak
VP of Business Development
Josh started his professional career in 2007 as a trainee appraiser in Des Moines, IA where he was born and raised. He gained his state certification in 2009 and has held an active appraisal license ever since. Throughout his 17-year career in valuations, he has been a field appraiser and a branch manager for one of the largest staff appraisal firms in the country. He also had the opportunity to work for a fortune 500 company where he was part of a management team that oversaw operations for an AMC and staff appraisal firm. Managing multiple departments such as client relations, vendor management and overseeing sales for the entire valuation space. During his tenure at the fortune 500 company he held various titles, encompassing branch manager, regional manager, director of business relations and sales director.
Josh and his wife reside in Johnston, IA. They are empty nesters with their son at the University of Iowa, Josh’s alma mater. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, he loves to golf, enjoys watching the Raiders and Cubs and has a newfound love for running.
